In pursuance of the National Action Plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation and quality up gradation of institutions of higher education, the NAAC proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an institution’s system and work towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance.

IQAC of the S.H College of Nursing aims to monitor quality and create quality alerts and propose ways and means of enhancing quality. The slogan of the IQAC is to achieve high quality through continuous improvement with cooperation of all stake holders. IQAC will channelize the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence. The IQAC welcomes critical remarks and suggestions from both members of the University system and also general public.

Objectives of IQAC

Develop and apply the quality benchmarks and parameters to the academic and administrative activities of the institution.
Promote and facilitate academic activities of the college and make them as standard practice.
Facilitate the learner centric environment and monitor the quality education.
To act as a felicitator in the institution so as to ensure quality.
Initiate the implementation of feedback responses from students on all curricular and non – curricular activities conducted by the institution.
Documentation of the various programmes and activities leading to quality improvement.
