We the faculty of Sacred Heart college of nursing recognize the nursing as an applied professional discipline that assist individuals and groups in society to attain, maintain, promote and restore health in the healing ministry of Jesus Christ who is the Greatest Healer the world ever seen.

We believe in providing nursing education based on scientific principles and sound educational theory and practice in order to prepare professionally qualified nurses who will be able to function as team member in all health care agencies in the role of practicing nurse. We believe that nursing education should be broad, dynamic, and adaptive to the changing needs of the society. The graduate with experience can rapidly move into leadership positions in Nursing Education. Nursing service and Administration. We promote all-round development of the students with special on human, moral, psychological, cultural, intellectual and spiritual aspects which is required to prepare a professional nurse who will be contributing citizen and effective agents of change in an ever changing society.

We create learning environment to achieve, assimilate and utilize in a strong linkage of in-depth knowledge based on scientific principles for the development of self awareness, self direction and leadership qualities to faster a sense of responsibility, creativity and to acquire delf esteem in their profession.

We accept that a substantial of the nursing education is acquired in the clinical area based on advanced principles of science technology. The faculties of nursing assume the responsibility for developing a student centered curriculum that guides encourages stimulates and challenges the learner. Careful planning of learning experience is based on their goals and needs. In fulfilling these responsibilities, we work with the designated members of the health team and allied services within the hospital and the community to use available resources most effectively.
